I just attended the launch party for Iva Bella Salon in Warrenton, which is an amazing creation by James Cornwell of Cornwell Styling and his lovely family! It is such a magical place and worth the trip, whether you are a local or coming from DC or any of the other surrounding areas. The location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. There is a brewery, Old Bust Head, right next door and I was able to taste 2 of their beers at the event, which were delish (And I'm not usually a beer person)! This area of Warrenton is also very close to some beautiful wineries. This kind of location makes it the perfect destination to get yo hair did, yo nails did or some waxing and then go relax with a glass of wine or pint of beer! The event also had a photo booth, Photo Flash Boutique, present, which is always a good time!
James is such a wonderful artist and mentor and I am so fortunate to know him and to have worked with him. It is a beautiful space he has created so that everyone can see what an amazing person he is and check out the amazing team he has assembled. You can be sure that when you get a service done at Iva Bella you are in very good hands and will leave ecstatic. I am one of his contract artists and work on outsourced events with him (Correspondents Dinner being one of them) and loved being able to meet some of his other team members during that whirlwind of a weekend! I can't wait to grow with his brand and eventually get my hair done at the amazing Iva Bella Salon (in between going to Raquel my future sister-in-law).
Now let me take a moment to talk about the atmosphere and the decor. When you first walk in, the front desk greets you with a beautiful smile and the sleek signage for Iva Bella. The next thing that grabs your eyes (quite literally) is the amazing chandelier in the entrance way. Let me just say, OMG! It is absolutely stunning! During the building stages, James had told me about his chandelier quest and had described the ones he chose, words do not do it justice. I was drooling over them the whole time! The perfect elegant touch to add an atmosphere of sophistication to the place.
The exposed beams and piping add the down to earth feel, which enhances the level of comfort of the salon. The dichotomy of the sophisticated chic qualities and the rugged exposed backbones of the building can make anyone, no matter their lifestyle, feel at home in this place of luxury and comfort.
Artwork spread throughout the space is the creation of Conner Berkey and are for sale. His work doesn't distract from the feel of the salon, but adds to the aesthetic and are pieces that anyone would want decorating their walls, whether it be your bedroom or dining room!
Iva Bella Salon is located at 7132 Lineweaver RdWarrenton, Virginia ... so go and Treat Yo 'Self!!
