I got this skirt shortly after my birthday when Urban Outfitters was having an amazing sale!! I had put it on my wish list, and became over-joyed when I saw that it had been reduced in price... and of course my next course of action was to snatch it up!
Once I had it in my possession the next step was figuring out how and when to wear it! And sad but true, it sat in my closet for quite sometime. Everytime I went for it I thought ' I need to save this for something special' or ' Maybe I should wait until I drop 5 more lbs.' I am sure some of you know this back and forth dance with certain pieces in your wardrobe.
Finally last month I had a fun shoot with Kirk of Kirk Westwood Photography doing a sunrise shoot and the skirt was the perfect styling option for it. After seeing how the skirt looked I was determined to finally style it and get it on this blog! I got a basic black body suit to wear under it, which helps to reduce any bulkiness and then the belt helped with cinching and elongating the waist.
