How do you wear your trench?

Tied in a bow in the back...

Outfit Details: 

trench: Michael Kors (similar)

dress: Bobeau via T.J.MAXX (similar)

boots: Restricted via Off Broadway (similar)

necklace: Charming Charlie

lipstick: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Red Velvet 40

 Loose and open...

Or zipped and buttoned up and  tied in the front?

Originally I got this trench because I fell in love with it at first sight, unfortunately then I didn't wear it at often as I should have...until now! My problem was that the belt buckle jingled too much and I didn't really know if it was taking away from the outfit i would pair it with or not. So finally I tried tying the belt in the back and using tape to stop the jingling (see the first set of images), thus I found my perfect way to wear my trench. It doesn't take away from the outfit, but adds to it! 

So this Fall, my goal is to give this trench the love it deserves and let it see more than just my closet.
