Tumbler & Tipsy Fall/ Winter 2013 Show
Metropolitan Pavilion
Key artist: Jon Hennessey
The amazing sponsor Conair...their hairstylists did a fabulous job on all of the shows! |
Tumbler & Tipsy's designer Michael Kuluva created a fun and beautiful
collection for this up coming fall and winter. It was a collection filled with
inspiration from Scottish tartans, tweed, preppy and a splash of urban punk.
All of these components formed a very fun and spunky collection to view,
especially with the upbeat music they played during the show.
The makeup was the perfect companion for the collection,
which was entitled ‘I Crave You’. Jon Hennessey of the Makeup Show, assisted by the AOFM Pro team,
decided to create a beautiful heart shape for the lip in a deep burgundy, seen
on almost all of the collections for this season. The eye was an exaggerated smoked
eye with very soft edges. There was not contour or cheek color, only a soft highlight
dusted on top of the cheek bone. This made it so the look was not over-done and
let the eyes and lips be the focal point.

I especially loved the finale of the show! All of the models toted red heart shaped balloons for the final walk, it definitely was an amazing end to this fabulous show!
